More about The Icebreaker Series: Established in 2019, The Icebreaker Series aims to break down the barriers of new work presentation. This staged-reading series has featured notable modern playwrights including SMJ, Jasmine Sharma, Matt Cox, Jaden Alvaro Gines, and Mackenzie Lansing. Off-shoots include Script to Screen, an online video series that showcases writers, actors, and editors, and Unplugged, a no-frills music event that has featured indie artists such as Hurricane Holly, Mariela Flor Olivo of Camp Bedford, and Grace Leckey.
