Bananas follows Meat and Maker, two conceptual artists who share a garden-level apartment in Brooklyn. When the local news reports on a bizarre murder, Meat reveals their current project: a series of durational killings. Instead of facing Meat’s incomprehensible evil, Maker releases his bottled resentment towards his roommate. But when Margaret, one of Meat’s unfinished projects, shows up at their door, no amount of detachment can save them from playing a role in her triple act.
