About the event

FARRIN follows Jamaican-American 20 something year old Maya. On a quest for belonging, Maya moves to Jamaica under a prestigious arts grant and forms an unlikely friendship that changes her relationship to her homeland for good. When her original project falls short, pressure closes in on Maya from all sides to decide what she's truly here for. Meanwhile her new friend Sheree cannot wait to leave, scraping money together for a Visa that'll grant her a brand new life in New York with her distant mother. At the end we will invite written feedback from the audience, so bring your pencils! We can't wait to share this moment with you.
