MY NAME IS RACHEL CORRIE

My Name is Rachel Corrie," is taken from the writings of Rachel Corrie, Edited by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner.  This is the Brooklyn premiere of the play, starring Johanna Griesé as Rachel, directed by Laura Clinton.  Rachel was an American activist and artist from Olympia, Washington, who traveled to Palestine in the early 2000s with the International Solidarity Movement. She was killed peacefully resisting the bulldozing of the Samir family home.  Her message was one of hope, and the play focuses on her life.
