About the event

As a girl growing up inĀ theĀ 90s, everyone seemed to know Rebecca had Autism Spectrum Disorder, except for her! And her parents! However, one thing was crystal clear: she had no idea how to ā€œact normal.ā€ This hour of standup comedy will cover Rebecca's hilarious lifelong struggle to adapt, including at one point literally googling ā€œhow to act normalā€ and landing onĀ theĀ pinnacle ofĀ theĀ ā€˜00s internet: WikiHow. If you've ever felt a little bit socially awkward, whether or not you have ASD (or if youā€™re still searching for that elusive diagnosis), this show is for you.

The show will also feature host Gabe Pacheco (SiriusXM, Caroline's)

Rebecca KaplanĀ is an adorably awkward standup comedian living in New York City. Her acerbic wit and relatable insights have entertained crowds all overĀ theĀ world includingĀ theĀ Edinburgh Fringe Festival,Ā theĀ Rubber City Comedy Festival (Best of Fest),Ā theĀ Boston Comedy Festival (semi-finalist) and She Makes Me Laugh Fest. Not convinced? Check out some of her stuff on social media at @RebeccaTKaplan.
