Kitchen Sink is putting on our very first 24 Hour Play Festival! Why is it Seriously Unserious? Well, it's exactly what it sounds like! This play festival is low stakes and low stress for playwrights and actors alike! Let's kick off 2026 with a bang!

About the event
Playwrights and actors selected from an interest form will meet with us via Google Meets on the day prior to the show to group actors with their playwright, announce the theme, and give each team their prompt.
Playwrights have until 6:30pm on 1/29 (the day of the show!) to complete a new play following the prompt. The actors will have thirty minutes to look over the scripts, and then the show will begin at 7pm.
