"Us Unparadised" is an adaptation of Milton's Paradise Lost with a new epic hero - Eve. Centering the storytelling around Milton's daughters, the play explores questions inherent to being the first people, familial politics, and meditations on Roe and bodily autonomy.

Maggie Rahilly and her play "Us Unparadised" were selected as the inaugural playwright in Next Life Theatre's Metamorphoses: Adaptation Development Program. Metamorphoses is a reading series and new work development program for playwrights and adaptive artists with in-progress or recently drafted adaptive works that have not been produced or workshopped.
