Service Description
Dream big! Let's get your work out there in front of an audience! Rental Fee: $95 per hour, payable in advance. Ticket Price: Your discretion. Ticket Sales: Managed by The RAT with a provided link (cc processing/service fees apply) OR posted event with a link to the ticketing site of your choice. -Box Office Attendant: Included if you are hosting ticketing through our site! You must provide a staff member for check-in if you host your own ticketing on another platform. -Revenue: You retain 100% of box office sales. Backline Equipment: 16-channel Mackie soundboard. 2 Mackie Thump Speakers. 4 Wireless Mics. 1 Wired Booth Mic. 1 DI Box on Stage with Stereo 1/4" connection. 1 Projector and Screen setup for 16:9 or 4:3 projection with HDMI connection. Theatrical LED lighting grid with ETC Colorsource programmable console. Extra Services (Optional): Live booth tech: $75 for events up to 3 hours. (NOTE: This is only if you require live cues, if you just need an intro our house manager will provide, or you can provide your own booth tech) Food/Drinks: Cash wine and beer bar license for attendees. Bartender/ House Manager included in rental fee. Light snacks, including candy, popcorn, and hot pretzels.
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for booking with us! We can't wait to see what you're working on. Show bookings must be approved by an administrator. By booking your space at The Rat you agree to our venue terms and conditions. Please review our full venue terms and conditions for venue rules and our 30-day cancellation policy. All bookings are inclusive of your load-in and load-out time in the venue. Your access to the space begins at the start time listed in your booking. Our space is located at 68 Jay Street #117 (next door to 68 Jay Bar). We are a ground-level storefront with a large pink neon rat in the window. Please check in at the front upon arrival. The closest subway stations are the F at York or the A/C at High Street. We are also a reasonable walk from the 2/3 at Clark Street and just minutes away from the East River Ferry at DUMBO/Fulton Ferry Landing. Parking can be difficult in the area so give yourself plenty of time to circle if you're driving. Citibikes and docking stations are plentiful in the area. Stage lighting equipment is not available for use during rehearsals unless you are booking a technical rehearsal for a show. If you need to use the stage lighting please let us know at the time of booking. Please note there is no smoking/vaping or glitter of any kind allowed at any time.
